It is almost time for another update again. On May 2nd, approximately between 10:45 and 14:00 server time (GMT+2), the game will not be available because of this. We're sorry for the inconvenience but hope to offer you lots of great new features when we return.

New features

• The last solo quest on Thalassos?
  
  There's finally peace and tranquillity on Thalassos, everything is taking its usual course. Even Plato is able to devote himself to his strange research again. This time he's doing it to extremes. Whether that will end well, who knows? Before you have finished this new quest you should make sure you've already done everything on Thalassos. Maybe there's no coming back afterwards...
  
  
• New places for the second house
  
  From now on Stan will be visited by his cousin on the first of every month. You shouldn't waste this opportunity! Because this... lady... could be helpful in relocating your second house to another place in Travian land. Just a tip: Pack your fishing rod and visit Stan on the promotion day. He might have a surprise up his sleeves.
  
  
• Battle of honor – Beta version
  
  In order to give the guild wars something new and exciting, we've developed a new feature which allows guilds to compete for honor instead of artifacts. We've also created a new leader board for this. We are very interested in your feedback for this feature as it's very difficult for our team to simulate wars between guilds. As the honor calculation is independent of the guild leader board, you can all try out this new kind of war care-free – your success in the guild leader board will not be effected. Have fun!
  
  
• Mattress merchant Valius
  
  Who doesn't know this problem? You'd like to furnish your room consistently in the style of your preferred collection, but the old, worn-out bed is only category 4. Those who use their favorite bed, but don't want to miss out on the advantages of a category 10 bed at the same time, can now be helped. In the Roman bed store to the south you can purchase mattresses from Valius which can increase the category of your favorite bed – providing that you have reached generation IV and that Valius isn't sleeping on the job again. A little tip for our most loyal players: The more generations you have under your belt, the cheaper it will be for you. It definitely pays to be loyal.
  
  
• Bingo riddle Akademietris
  
  As you'd expect, there's a new riddle in the club of puzzles. Keen visitors of Thalassos will most likely know the riddle already, although this time we've thought of a shorter variant with many new 'guidelines'. Will you manage to reconstruct these typical Travian sculptures with marble, without wasting too much material? Good luck building!
  
  
• N. P. Caesar requests a duel
  
  Who has never experienced this before? You just want to fight in the arena, but you can't find an opponent of equal strength. In the meantime there is the option of increasing your search area. For those of you who find this too risky, we've added a further possibility: You can now battle against a computer-controlled opponent – Arena veteran N. P. Caesar needs to be taken down. However a word of warning: With every defeat within one generation he learns new things – therefore you shouldn't keep attacking him all the time, that'd end badly! He should only remain the second choice for those who like to climb the leader boards, as he generally gives less experience points than human players do.
  
  
• An end to cluttered rucksacks
  
  As players of generation III and above probably know, you can give away the potions and cards you no longer need to Hula at the beach bar close to the Roman camp. In the coming release Hula will take care of many more items, allowing the problem of having an over-filled rucksack to be consigned to the past.
  
  
• Personal bingo riddles
  
  You are now able to inform Enigma, whether you'd like to continue receiving general riddles, which are the same for all players, or if you'd prefer a personal one, which would be unique to you. For some of you it may be more interesting to try to solve one on your own. For those of you who like assistance in solving the riddles, you can carry on doing so like with the old version.
  
  
• New guild right 'Janitor'
  
  Another player request which found its way into the update is the following: Guild members who have a talent in furnishing the guild house, may now be assigned the 'Janitor' guild right. Previously, the administrator or sub-admin had to carry out the task themselves, now it's no longer necessary to assign a janitor so much power.
  
  
• The reading right for sitters has been split
  
  You are now able to separately set whether your sitters are permitted to read IGMs or posts in the forum as well as whether they're permitted to write in the chat under your name for example. Please note that you must distribute these rights after the update again; the previous sitter reading rights have been deleted with the update.
  
  
• Fixed map
  
  A cool, new feature – you're now able to fix the map at any time so that it doesn't jump back to the position of your character as soon as you've changed tile. Just place a tick at the top edge of the screen – sorted.
  
  
• Map in the house now has an exit button
  
  How convenient! Anyone who has stumbled into a stranger's house is now able to use this button on the map to disappear again – the character then runs off to the exit by himself.
  
  
• New wheel of fortune furniture
  
  More information for the fans of the Thalassos collection: The wheel of fortune furniture will also be replaced in the coming release as you'd expect. Whoever is still missing one or two pieces of furniture should not miss this last chance to complete their collection. Of course the new furniture is also worth collecting, so stay on the ball!
  
  
• New collection: Mystic
  
  This impressive and particularly extensive new collection came from our hard-working players ?Tades?, S?ndy and Serse (Travianer.DE). The portrait pictures are definitely a highlight worth mentioning – here you'll find practically all the figures from the Travian world. They should definitely make for a great gallery... Many thanks to ?Tades?, S?ndy and Serse (Travianer.DE) for the good work!

Improvement of existing features

• Reworking of the leader board menu
  
  In the future the leader boards will be selectable from a compact drop-down menu (at the usual place). However your five most important leader boards can be selected via a button as before. Simply assemble your personal set of leader boards.
  
  
• Separate closure of the first and second house
  
  There will be the possibility for all second house owners to close the first and second houses independently of each other via the game options.
  
  
• Furniture packages now with a color selection button
  
  In the future you'll be able to select a color for all furniture in a package when making the purchase, instead of having to change the color one at a time. For the designers amongst you, there's also a new craft set with tablets from the medicine collection.
  
  
• Tile adjustments in the forbidden territory
  
  Many of you will still be able to remember: Not too long ago we repositioned the path in the village so that it no longer 'lead through the interface'. We have now corrected a similar problem in the forbidden territory – it's now easier to click the path.
  
  
• New window for rejected requests
  
  When you now challenge a friend to a battle, and they refuse, you'll no longer receive the arena pop-up, rather you'll see a more suitable screen from which you can make a new request directly.
  
  
• Reworked login tips
  
  This improvement has been made for the benefit of new players: We have updated the tips that appear randomly upon login.
  
  
• New report for feeding the beast
  
  When you complete the daily quest 'Feeding the beast', you'll receive a report which shows your reward. You don't need go and check in the house editor anymore.

Additional information

• Smaller improvements and fixes
  
  Here are the most important and noteworthy changes: The medal 'Master of masters' which was previously found in the 'mixed bag' category, can now be found in the 'To the battle' category. In the quest 'The raid', you will no longer be able to cheat with the boots of Hermes from the village... Senkel is now keeping a closer eye on you. You can no longer click on drawers in the palace ruins or in Tonkarius' palace – that made the quests unnecessarily harder. Mini-game opponents are now simple referred to as 'fellow players', which is a more appropriate term.

The following bugs were fixed in this update:

• CoOp-Quest: Name of the player are missing in the dialog of the quest.
• Sitter rights – Sitters weren´t able to write in the chat.
• Description for the „Friends invite Friends“ was wrong. The amount of diamonds wasn´t correct.
• Flooring bases cost in the guild as much as in the house from the player.
• Childrens room – Pink shelf isn´t working proberly.
• Payment shop – Descriptions for one of the packes was wrong
• Graphical issues at Thalassos
• CoOp-Quest 3 - Wrong name in the dialog
• CoOp-Quest 3 – Text issues after finishing the quest at Ikarus
• Bonus items – Problems on Thalassos while clicking on the icon at the bonus times list.
• Bingo chest: Missing subject at the game „Ladies choice“ .
