    Ok, once again.

    I like doing all kinds of things. Among those, baking

    and cooking indian food

    are among my favorites, although I love to cook in general. I also like to play pen & paper RPGs, build plaster models, fold origami, weave pine-needle baskets, play just about any video game I can get my hands on, hike, program, build gadgets, work with wood, and eat.

    While I hate getting my picture taken, and am usually quite good at avoiding it, my wife loves to take my picture, and is very good with the quick-draw

    Also, though it's not relevant really, my wife also loves taking pictures of her gnome... everywhere. Don't believe me:

    Cheers,
    Taco

    I'm getting ready for work right now, but I'll certainly message you with a few of my favorite dishes ^^.

    As for games, it depends on which you mean. For video games I'm fairly eclectic, I like just about everything but sports games... and even some of those are ok.

    For Pen & Paper, I GM palladium stuff (Mostly rifts and nightbane) but I've got active characters for D&D, WW Buffy, WW Angel, Serenity, D6 Starwars, Indiana Jones, and hollow earth. I've got a pile of inactive characters for a handful of others as well.

    Cheers,
    Taco

    Mmmm pig butt. I have to say though, I am not a big fan of 'smoked' foods, or barbecue, but I love grilled foods.

    I got a good simple recipes for some Kabobs about two months back, if anyone is interested just message me for the recipe, I got a good Potatoe soup one as well.

    Anyways, I look forward to your recipes.

    Here is the Potato Soup recipe that you said you wanted, its really simple which is the nice part, I will give you some tips on cooking it at the bottom, because the first time I did the recipe as it said, it burned on the bottom because of the flower.

    Potato Soup
    * 8 to 10 slices bacon, diced, about 8 ounces
    * 4 tablespoons butter
    * 1 cup diced onion
    * 1 bunch green onions, about 8 green onions, thinly sliced
    * 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
    * 3 cups chicken broth
    * 2 cups half-and-half
    * 4 large baking potatoes, baked, peeled, and diced
    * 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
    * 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
    * 8 ounces sour cream
    * 8 ounces shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    * Sliced green onion for garnish, optional

    I have a skillet/pan, a pot and a much larger large crock pot of some sort. (just some large pot to hold ALL the finished soup)

    In the skillet/pan cook the bacon until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towels to drain and pour the bacon drippings into a cup. Put 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings back into the pan along with the butter, chopped onion, green onions(chives) and celery(I don't add the celery). Cook(saute), stirring, until vegetables are tender. I then turn off the stove under the pan and let it cook down for a minute or two. I then add the flour until blended. Then slowly I add some chicken broth mixing it until it starts turning pasty or the pan fills up, in the large crock pot or pan I had already placed all the other chicken broth and let it heat up some I then add whats in the skillet/pan into the chicken brother and stir until it looks well mixed. I do it this way otherwise the flower will not be mixed good and will more then likely burn to the bottom of the large crock pot or whatever you use.

    In the smaller pot, I have cut up all the potatoes needed and just boil them in some water, it speeds up the process.( I have also found that the number of potatoes listed seems to not be much in the end for such a large pot of soup, so I always add more the next day. lol because by the time this is all done, it fills up a large pot very easily.)

    Once it has began to get warm and is mixed well stir in half-and-half, diced potatoes(Mine are already cooked so I add them towards the end), salt, pepper, and cheese. Continue cooking until cheese is melted.

    Then add sour cream.(I tend to add the potatoes somewhere in this step and wait for the soup to become hot) Cook, stirring constantly, until soup is hot. Serve the soup garnished with bacon and extra sliced green onion, if desired(I definitely desire this.)

    I hope this looks good to you all. ^_^
