I passed around Mexican Hot Chocolate in bath chat and was asked top post it here. It's that time of the year, and this chocolate drink is yummy and not super sweet. Enjoy.

    Ingredients
    1 quart milk
    7 ounces mexican chocolate
    1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 small pinch salt
    1 pinch chili powder

    Directions
1 Cut the chocolate into small pieces.

2 In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil and then add the chocolate.

3 After the chocolate is incorporated, add the cinnamon, vanilla, chili powder and salt.

4 Simmer for 10 minutes and then whisk briskly to a foam right before serving.

5 Divide evenly into 4 cups and serve.

    Cookie Time PBJ Cookies

Guys, this recipe comes from a Travian friend, who's dearly missed, haplo32:

    1/4 cup of margarine
    3/4 cup of peanut butter
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    dash of salt

Mix all the wet ingredients until well blended and dry ingredients gradually .
Chill dough in fridge for about an hour. Shape dough in small balls and roll through finely cut peanuts.Gently make an indent with your thumb and bake for 10 to 12 mins and add your favorite filling once they done. I add the jam while they are hot seems to work better, for me i use Kraft strawberry jam .....mmmmmm yummmy .

    Moonlight's Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

    Moonlight's Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

    Category: Appetizers & Snacks
    Style: American
Servings: depends... if you're a supermodel, it'll feed you for a decade!

    Description:
This makes a fantastic breakfast, snack, dessert... room air freshener...

    Ingredients:
    3 medium-large bananas - overripe is best

    1/2 cup butter, melted

    pinch of salt (optional - I don't)

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 tablespoon water

    2 cups flour

Cinnamon, Nestle semi-sweet chocolate chips, extra sugar all to taste

    Directions:
    Preheat Oven to 350 degrees

Mash bananas, blend in sugar and beaten egg. Add melted butter and salt. Dissolve soda in water and add to mixture. Add cinnamon to taste. Fold in flour (not all at once!). Fold in chocolate chips to taste.

Pour into 9x9" greased and floured pan (can use two 4x7" loaf pans). Sprinkle extra sugar over top (forms shiny and crispy crust). Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

(Pictured as double batch ~ five or six large bananas and double everything else, baked in greased/floured 13x9" pan at same heat/time.)

You can smell it can't ya??? :-)
